Civil 3D Draftsperson : 1 Position | Job Location : Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton and Calgary (Flights Provided)
Job Description

Our team is seeking a Civil 3D Drafter to join their team!

Key Responsibilities
  • Site development drafting including surface grading, roadways, landfill sites and associated details
  • Integrating site surveys to make design adjustments and produce record drawings and record models for future designs
  • Coordinate and produce drafting assignments with project managers and engineers from initial project stage to project completion; utilizing CADD tools
  • Efficiently work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, prepare design models, drawing packages and check design parameters of other team members
  • Follows group practices and pre-scribed project standards with the understanding of shared work on multiple projects
  • Take direction from other Senior Technologists, Engineers and Project Managers
  • Produce detailed Reports for clients on Industrial Site (Concrete, Anchor Bolts, Steel Etc.).

Minimum Requirements
  • Civil Technology or Engineering Design & Drafting Diploma
  • 5-7 years of Civil Drafting experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is a must with knowledge of customization, corridors, and multiple surfaces
  • Advanced technical and problem-solving skills and abilities
  • Ability to maintain workflow through overlapping phases of project
  • Experience with Trimble Business Center and other Survey Equipment

Shift Schedule will be a 7/7 with flights provided to Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton and Calgary. Salary will depend on experience.

Senior/Intermediate Party Chiefs : 1 Position
Key Responsibilities
  • Collecting and documenting field conditions and land related information
  • Measuring angles, distances and elevations using chains, total stations and GPS receivers
  • Recording measurements manually or in an electronic field-data collector
  • Marking boundaries of well sites, utility right of ways, roadways and parcels of land
  • Gathering field data / Analyzing survey data, computer records and other related information / Processing GPS measurements and survey data using computers
  • Taking measurements associated with management of natural resources and pipeline activities

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Geomatics Technology Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Experience running Trimble RTK GPS / Conventional Equipment
  • Experience on Heavy Civil Construction Projects (Min 2 Years)
  • A strong technical aptitude as well as a strong aptitude for math, science and computers
  • A Class 5 driver’s license (driver's abstract required)
  • Willingness to be away from home and work outdoors in all climates, conditions and terrain
  • Commitment to safety protocol
  • Attention to detail / Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal skills / Strong organizational skills and flexibility / Able to meet deadlines
